Release Your Brakes
I'm sure you've already read it, but my favorite book is "The Power of Focus, How to Hit Your Business, Personal and Financial Targets With Absolute Clarity" by Jack Canfield. I carry a copy with me nearly all the time. There's a good quote in the book that you may want to use when discussing "Knowing Your Number"..."Remember, A Goal Without A Number Is Just A Slogan".
You should start a Book Club like Oprah!

You know there is a simple book I have read several times. A gentleman that has been handed a silver spoon all the money in the world he would ever need. He never learned about thinking about others only himself. Then one day sitting at the table with his family and the attorney learning what his inhertance is from his uncle that just passed was brilliant life lesson. It is called the "Ultimate Gift". Each of my past clients for the year received this book during the Holiday Season. The response was fabulous.
